Certain boats require that you plug power cords into their inlets to power everything inside.

- You should always turn off the breaker in your boat first, and then the same for the pedestal.
- Continue by connecting the cord and making sure it locks.
- Once the cord is locked and the inlet side is secured, go ahead and turn on the breaker at the pedestal.
